My first post about my choice music will be about the latest album of my favorite rock band of all time, Switchfoot.
Released last November 10, 'Hello Hurricane' is the seventh full-length album of the San Diego-based band. Consistent with their previous singles and multi-track releases, the current sound is non-generic--an expansive collection of formula-defying artistry done in the exceptional workmanship that is one of the hallmarks of the multi-platinum selling band.
Recognizing music as a platform and a potent stealth vehicle to the core of the human soul, the poetic finesse in Jon Foreman's sublime songwriting delivered in his soulful vocals and the superb musicality of Tim, Chad, Jerome and Drew are laid out in evocative tunes and the astute and honest lyricism as in 'Your Love is A Song' and 'Bullet Soul'. There's also truthful grit in 'The Sound', trenchant observations in 'Mess of Me', and heart-baring declarations in 'Always,' 'Enough to Let Me Go,' and 'Red Eyes'.
'Epic' would be the single term to capture the songwriting, production, and performances that went into 'Hello Hurricane' and I can't help b ut get swept off into the Hurricane as I hit the repeat button once again.

I voted for Doc Hendley who started out Wine to Water, a non-profit organization that aims to help provide clean drinking water for underprivileged communities around the world such as areas in Cambodia, Ethiopia, and Darfur. Wine to Water also educates the people in these communities on why clean water is better than the polluted fluids they are used to drinking.
I can't stop hitting the 'Replay' button to this video since it was posted...The energy! relevant lyrics! my favorite favorite rock band of all time!
